Dr. Davies is the author of one scientific book and over eighty scientific papers in his specialty, the physics of the Earth’s interior. His specialty has been how plate tectonics and continental drift are driven by the slow overturning of the Earth’s mantle. He is a Senior Fellow at the Australian National University.
